
Crunch Name Matt Brayfield Assistant Equipment Manager

Syracuse, NY (August 30, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Matt Brayfield has been named the club's assistant equipment manager. Brayfield rounds out the Crunch's 2010-11 training staff, joining Head Equipment Manager, Rodney Blachford and Athletic Trainer, Joe Huff.
Brayfield, 25, comes to the Crunch from the Central Hockey League's (CHL) Laredo Bucks, where he spent the last two seasons as the team's equipment manager. In addition, Brayfield served as the head equipment manager for the South Texas All-Stars at the 2010 CHL All-Star game.
A native of Sherman, Illinois, Brayfield spent the 2007-08 campaign with Huntsville (SPHL) after spending the 2006-07 season with the Springfield Jr. Blues (NAHL). Prior to that, Brayfield served as an assistant equipment manager with Peoria from 2004-06.
