Crossover kicks off 2007 season this week

March 28, 2007 - International Basketball League (IBL)
Colorado Crossover News Release

Lakewood, CO-The Colorado Crossover's second season in the International Basketball League gets underway on Friday, March 30, against the Lewis County Raptors at the Crossover's new home court at Colorado Christian University. The Crossover will also face the Raptors at home on Saturday, March 31. Both games will tip off at 7:15pm.

Colorado Crossover Head Coach Eric Stoffel-"Everyone in the organization is excited and ready to get started. The players have been working extremely hard, and are ready to go. This is a team that will be very fun to watch-and it's a group with enough talent to challenge for the IBL title."

The Crossover's lineup features many new faces, including the top two scorers from last season's 13-7 Aurora Cavalry Squad (Michael Morse and Phillip Hillstock). Also coming to the Crossover from Aurora is Jermaine Mason.

Colorado Crossover General Manager John Johnson-"We knew we had to put together a more talented roster to compete at the level we want to. I believe we have achieved that this season. We have a group that is very fundamentally sound, and capable of thriving in this league's up tempo style of play."

The Crossover's 2007 home schedule includes visits from the Elkhart Express, the IBL's defending champions, and the Phoenix Flame-featuring former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos, and 'Go Get It' from the AND 1 Mixtape Tour.
