The 96 game 2006 Northern League season opens up on four fronts on Thursday, May 18 including the 'Cats home opener at TELUS Field at 7:05 PM.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, managed by legendary Northern League skipper Doug Siminuc, will provide the opposition for the first 4 games. The pitching match up for the series is as follows:

The Fargo Roster includes 12 returning players from the 2005 team that sported a record-setting 68-27 won-loss record.

The Cracker-Cats will start the season with 21 players, 13 newcomers, and 9 returning players.

The Cracker-Cats concluded the six game Alberta spring training tour, with the Calgary Vipers, splitting the series with 3 wins a piece.

Following Thursday's season opener, the first post game concert will take place featuring "Dash Riprock and the Original Kit Kats," on the TELUS Field sound stage.
