
Coyotes Assign Chris Rawlings to Sundogs

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Phoenix Coyotes have assigned Chris Rawlings to the Arizona Sundogs, the team announced today.
Rawlings 25-years-old, began his professional career this season, where he began his 2013-14 season skating with the Gwinnett Gladiators of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). While there he amassed a 3.68 goals-against average and a 0.879 save percentage in six games. He also played in two games for the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL) where he had a 0.60 goals-against average and 0.975 save percentage.
The 6-foot-5, British Columbia native spent his collegiate career playing for the Northeastern University (H-East) where he averaged a 2.84 goals-against average and a 0.914 save percentage over four years.
"The Phoenix Coyotes have big hopes for Chris joining our team", said Sundogs Head Coach, Kevin Colley. "Chris is a big goalie that covers a lot of the net. This is great news for us as an organization, to build an even stronger affiliation",
The Sundogs start a five game home stand this weekend, November 22nd and 23rd against the Quad City Mallards before squaring off with the Allen American's next week, at Tim's Toyota center.
