North Carolina Courage News Release
CARY, NC - The North Carolina Courage today announced that the club have waived Jorian Baucom in order for the forward to pursue a playing opportunity overseas. The club would like to thank Jorian for her contributions and hard work and wish her all the best in this new chapter.
Baucom joined the Courage roster as a waiver wire pickup in December, making six appearances and maintaining a 75.8% passing success rate, recording two shots and averaging 30.9 passes per 90 minutes. The forward made her debut with the North Carolina side in a match against Angel City FC on April 29. Prior to her time with the Courage, Baucom spent time with Racing Louisville FC as well as in the Czech First Division and the Frauen-Bundesliga.
The Courage return to action Friday, August 5, as they travel to take on the Portland Thorns at 10:30 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed live on CBS Sports Network and Twitch (internationally).
