Frugal Fan Friday's
Tonight is the last Frugal Fan Friday on the K-Wings schedule. Every Friday in February, the K-Wings have offered fans a special promotion of $1 hot dogs and beer.
Get Shorty
Forward Lucas Drake, who recorded his second shorthanded tally of the season in the K-Wings' 3-2 loss to Port Huron on Wednesday, is now tied with Anthony Battaglia and Glenn Detulleo for the team-lead in that category. The shorthander was also the eighth recorded by the K-Wings this season, and the loss marked the first time this year that Kalamazoo has lost when scoring a man-down.
Burning Up
Forward Anthony Battaglia is on a K-Wings' season-high tying seven-game point streak registering 4 goals and 5 assists during the stretch. Lucas Drake (5 goals, 4 assists) has earned points in five consecutive games, while Glenn Detulleo (1 goal, 5 assists) is riding a four-game point streak.
Home on the Range
Despite owning the best home record in the league at 17-6-1-0, the Kalamazoo Wings are currently riding a season-high three-game (0-2-1-0) home winless streak and a season-high tying two-game home losing streak. With 17 home wins, the K-Wings already have surpassed their total for victories at Wings Stadium from a season ago (16).
