For the fourth time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up its skates against the Muskegon Fury. On the season, Kalamazoo holds a 2-1-0-0 advantage against its intra-state rivals and have won both previous encounters at L.C. Walker Arena.

Coming off a 3-2 shootout victory last night in Flint, Kalamazoo is now unbeaten in regulation in its last four games (2-0-0-2). The K-Wings have played well away from Wings Stadium winning four of its seven games this season on the road.

Home has been anything but sweet for the Muskegon. With just one victory at L.C. Walker Arena, the Fury has the dubious honor of holding the worst home record (1-6-0-0) in the IHL. With 11 points on the season, Muskegon finds itself in unfamiliar territory, last place in the league.

Kory Karlander is starting to heat up. Karlander, who has earned a point in four straight games, leads the K-Wings in scoring with 16 points, and ranks tied for third in the league in assists with 11.

"Flo" The Show

Kalamazoo's Florian Iberer has continued to turn heads at the blue line. With 13 points, Iberer is tied for first place for first place among all IHL defensemen in scoring and at +12, he shares the overall league lead in plus/minus.

Kalamazoo's last three games have gone into shootouts. The K-Wings are 1-2 during its recent shootout streak.
