For the seventh time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Flint Generals. The K-Wings lead the season series with a record of 4-2-0. After today, the two teams will lace up their skates against one another two more times with both encounters occurring at the Perani Hockey World & Event Center.

Kalamazoo snapped a two-game losing streak last night with a 4-1 victory versus the Port Huron Flags. Today concludes a four-game road swing for the K-Wings. So far during the stretch, Kalamazoo has a record 1-2-0.

Flint is flying high after a 4-1 victory last night over the Muskegon Fury. The win gives the Generals victories in three straight games and in four of their last five. Flint starts the day just two points ahead of the Elmira Jackals for third place in the Eastern Conference.

Revving Up the "Kar"

With a goal last night, forward Kory Karlander extended his goal streak to nine games. In the nine-game duration, Karlander has scored ten goals and registered 14 points. Besides being a K-Wings' season high, the goal streak is also a season high in the UHL this season.

One for the Road

Today concludes the K-Wings four-game road swing. So far Kalamazoo is 1-2-0 during the stretch, on the season Kalamazoo is 14-7-1 in contests played away from Wings Stadium.

Kalamazoo has enjoyed playing on the first day of the Week. The K-Wings are 7-2-0 on games played on Sunday's this season.
