Farber Taking 2010-11 Indoor Season Off to Rest and Recuperate
Cougar fan favorite Brian Farber, who spent the past 2010 outdoor soccer season with the USL's Portland Timbers, recently announced that he will be taking a break during the 2010-11 indoor season to rest and recuperate from various injuries and to focus on the 2011 Major League Soccer Season.
Said Farber: "I have received multiple offers from teams in both the PASL and MISL, just like last season. I spent 5 years with the Cougars, so my heart is in Stockton. My answer is the same to everyone. I have had a rough year with injuries, and I do not want to commit to anyone until I know that I am healthy. I am also scheduled to participate at the MLS combines in February, and I need to make sure that I am ready, and at my best. I will be in a better position to make a quality decision, once I am healthy."
We wish Brian the best of luck as he shoots for Major League Soccer in 2011!
