
Cougars celebrate third straight win by bagging groceries

Stockton, CA - Dec. 10, 2007 - The California Cougars, of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), will appear at Marina Market Place in Stockton for the store's annual customer appreciation night. The entire Cougars roster will appear from 4:00PM to 7:00PM and will hold autograph signings in between shifts of bagging groceries for customers.
Players will assist the store as they reach out to the community and celebrate their continued success in the Central Valley. Most players will spend time interacting with customers by bagging and carrying groceries for customers.

The Cougars have won three straight games, the second longest streak in franchise history. They are 2-2 at Stockton Arena after picking up a dominating 14-6 win over La Raza de Monterrey last night in Stockton. The Cougars also own an impressive 3-1 record on the road this season.
California does not travel again until playing the Detroit Ignition on January 4, 2008. Two home dates remain in December. California plays host to the Baltimore Blast this Saturday, December 15 at 7:15PM. The expansion New Jersey Ironmen and goalkeeper Tony Meola face the Cougars for the first time December 30 at 6:15PM.
All games in December are part of Toyota Youth Soccer Month. All youth soccer players in a soccer jersey are free to attend with a paying adult. Tickets are available online at www.californiacougars.net or by calling (209) 373-1550.
