Cougars Announce 2008 Summer Soccer Camps

Stockton, CA - The California Cougars, of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), are pleased to announce plans for their 2008 summer soccer camps in Northern California's Central Valley region. Camps run from June to August and will be hosted by professional Cougars players such as Bernie Lilavois, Antonio Sutton, Craig Scheer, Sanaldo and Matt Caution. The summer program camps will be held in Manteca, Modesto, Stockton, Lodi, Ripon and Livermore. Campers ages 4-18 are encouraged to register as soon as possible by calling (209) 373-1550.
Camp registration for clinics in Manteca, Modesto, Stockton, Lodi and Ripon starts at $100.00 for each participant until May 31, 2008, but increases to $125.00 on June 1, 2008. Families who register for more than one camp receive a $25.00 discount on registration dues.

Registration fees include a soccer ball, Cougars Camp t-shirt, a ticket to the Cougars' 2008-09 home opener at Stockton Arena, a camp photo and a camp certificate.
An award ceremony will follow each camp session and will be held on the final day of camp. Participating Cougars player will be on hand for an autograph session on each final day.
The Cougars first summer camp in Manteca will be held at Woodward Park and runs from June 2 to June 6, 2008. The second camp begins July 14 and ends July 18, 2008.
The Stockton camp will be held at the Regional Sports Complex on Arch Road. Camp dates are scheduled for June 9 through June 13, 2008. The second session runs from July 28 to August 1, 2008.
Camps in Lodi will be held at Peterson Park from June 16 to June 20, 2008.
Ripon Sports Complex is the home of the Cougars camp in the city of Ripon. Camps there run from July 21 to July 25, 2008.
Camps in Livermore are scheduled to be held at Independence Park from June 23 through June 27, and July 28 through August 1, 2008.
Dates and location for the Modesto camps have yet to be determined. An announcement will come shortly.
The Cougars finish their two week long, four game road trip, tomorrow night in Detroit against the Ignition. The match can be watched live on Fox Soccer Channel starting at 5:00 p.m. pacific standard time. The road trip ends on Sunday in Milwaukee against the Wave at 12:00 p.m. PST. Both games are available online via webcast at www.californiacougars.net and in Stockton on 1420AM KSTN.
