Cornbread and the Ragin' Cajun are at it again! Beginning Friday, February 4, 2005 the RiverCity Rage will donate $30 from every $90 season ticket, $20 from every $60 season ticket and $5 for each game day voucher, that is sold through the 92.3 WIL-Rage partnership benefiting St. Jude's.
"Our goal is to sell 4,000 season tickets," stated Jerry Lakin, majority team owner. "If we can accomplish this, we will have raised $80,000 for St. Jude's. They [St. Jude's] are an incredible organization, and are proud to be able to support their research and treatment of childhood cancer."
For those unable to purchase season tickets, the Rage will provide game day vouchers, which are redeemable for one lower level game day ticket, at a cost of $10 per voucher. The Rage will then make a contribution of $5 for every voucher that is sold.
The RiverCity Rage will join 92.3 WIL onsite at St. Louis Mills Mall, on February 17th and 18th, to rally support for this worthy foundation.
"We are going to have players, cheerleaders, and staff at the [St. Louis Mills] Mall for both days," stated Morris Groves, Director of Operations for the Rage. "It's great to be a part of this and knowing that we are helping St. Jude's find a cure for childhood cancer."
