Coors Light to Sponsor Field

Amarillo, TX 2/8/11 - The Amarillo Venom is pleased to announce they will now be playing on Coors Light Field at the Amarillo Civic Center.
Longtime sponsor Coors Light and the Amarillo Venom have agreed to a one-year deal, making Coors Light the team's field sponsor. Coors Light will also host pregame tailgating parties outside of the Civic Center for all Amarillo Venom fans.
"We've been sponsors of the Amarillo team for a long time," said Don Walton, the Special Events Manager for the Great Western Distribution Company. "We are excited about once again being partners with the Amarillo Venom and this year's field sponsor."
Coors Light isn't the only one excited about the partnership as Scott Sneed, the Vice President of Corporate Sales for the Amarillo Venom, said there is not much better than Coors Light and Indoor Football.
"Coors Light stepped up big," said Scott. "We appreciate the continued support of our Amarillo corporate sponsors and their help making the season possible. The Amarillo Venom is looking forward to playing on Coors Light Field."
The Venom's first time to play on Coors Light Field will be February 20th, when they host the Allen Wranglers in an exhibition matchup. Other than the exhibition matchup, the Venom will play on Coors Light Field seven times during the regular season. The home slate features matchups against the Wyoming Calvary, Allen Wranglers, Colorado Ice, West Texas Rough Necks, and Bricktown Brawlers.
Tickets for the February 20th exhibition game are on sale through the Amarillo Venom office, located at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo, and single game tickets for the regular season go on sale February 18th.
