
Cook Named Special Teams Player of the Week

The United Indoor Football Association has named Raptors defensive back Billy Cook as the Week 14 Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in Rock River's 37-33 win over Bloomington at the MetroCentre on June 24th.
Cook returned a 43-yard kick for the Raptors (9-4) for a touchdown leaving only five second left in the game and gave the Raptors a 37-33 win over the Bloomington Extreme (5-8) this past weekend. On the night, Cook returned three kicks for a total of 76-yards. He also had one solo tackle on the night. This win helped secure the Raptors a playoff seed in the top three and now will head to Peoria (0-13) next weekend to play at the Carver Arena for the first time this season.
