Connecticut Hammerheads Unveil Inaugural Season Schedule

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Connecticut Hammerheads and Major League Lacrosse announced today the 2020 schedule, which will feature five games at Fairfield University's Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. The 2020 schedule features 10 games for each team.
The Hammerheads will play their first game on May 30 at home, hosting the Philadelphia Barrage in a battle between the league's two new franchises. Opening faceoff for the Hammerheads' inaugural game is set for 5 p.m.
The first road contest for Connecticut will be the following week, when it travels to Boston to take on the Cannons in the battle of New England. The game is slated for 5 p.m. on June 6 at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Matchups to look out for in 2020 for the Hammerheads include the June 20th game versus the defending MLL Champion-Chesapeake Bayhawks, as well as the team's road trips to neighboring rivals Boston and the New York Lizards. The Hammerheads travel across the Long Island Sound to New York on Thursday, July 16, the team's only weekday game of the season.
Connecticut faces its longest road trip of the season in the final week of play, when it travels to Denver to face the Outlaws on August 15.
The Hammerheads' home opener kicks off at 5 p.m., with the remaining four home matchups are scheduled for a 4 p.m. start time.
The full 2020 Hammerheads schedule is below. Season tickets and tickets to the Hammerheads' May 30 home opener go on sale on March 11. Single game tickets to Connecticut's full schedule will be on sale on April 2.
