Conference Finals Shift to CTC for Games 4 & 5

BOSSIER CITY, LA - After starting the Berry Conference Finals with three straight games in Allen, Texas, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs carry a 2-1 series lead back to the CenturyTel Center this weekend as they prepare to host the next two games. The Mudbugs and Allen Americans will take the ice in Games 4 and 5 of the best-of-seven series Friday night at 7:05 and Sunday afternoon at 4:05 at the CTC.
While the ¬ËBugs look to take a 3-1 series lead over the top-seeded Americans Friday night in Game 4, we'll also be working to support the Bossier Council on Aging Meals on Wheels program to aid seniors in Bossier Parish. The Mudbugs and SMG are combining to donate $1,000 to the program, and we're encouraging fans to get involved as well. Stop by the Bossier Council on Aging booth on the concourse Friday night to get more information on the services they provide, make a donation and enter a raffle to win a signed, game-used Mudbugs hockey stick.
As the Mudbugs clash with Allen again on Sunday in Game 5, we're asking the Mudbugs family to help us contribute to tornado relief in storm-ravaged Marion County, Alabama. Marion County was one of the hardest-hit areas when a violent series of storms unleashed tornados all over the south last week, so we're donating $1.00 from every ticket sold for Sunday's game to contribute to local relief organizations and support the recovery effort.
We'll also be collecting donations of many desperately-needed daily household items such as bottled water, canned food, baby supplies, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, paper towels, batteries, etc. to send to the people of Marion County. Since Sunday is also Mother's Day, we'll be appreciating moms in the crowd by giving away great prizes throughout the entire game! Moms in attendance will even have the chance to register for top prizes like a free night's stay at the Courtyard by Marriott at the Louisiana Boardwalk, a Mother's Day package from My Spa My Way, a Horseshoe Hotel & Casino prize pack and a $50.00 gift certificate to Superior Steakhouse!
Following Sunday's Game 5, the Mudbugs and SMG are offering a FREE public skating session for fans. Free skating tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 100 people to sign up at the Gateway Tire Fan Services Center.
Remember to bring your "Teal Towel" to this weekend's games to keep up our new playoff tradition and help turn the CenturyTel Center into a house of horrors for Allen! Mudbugs playoff ticket package holders are reminded to use their tickets for playoff games "G" and "H" for the games this Friday and Sunday.
