Week in Review: Care-A-Van

The first Care-A-Van of the summer made the trip up the hill to Tehachapi on Tuesday to attend the Tehachapi Parks and Recreation Adventure Camp. Day campers learned to shoot the puck from Sean Venedam, played "Sharks and Minnows" with Condors mascot Baby Cal and won Condors gear. Afterwards, fans were able to enjoy a meal at Kelley's Café, where Venedam signed autographs and the Condors collected donations for Goodwill Industries.

Last Thursday, the Condors Mascot Baby Cal along with Community Relations Manager Brian Marsh presented a check to the Valley Achievement Center for $31,600, the amount raised at the Country Music Jerseys Off Our Back Auction on March 29. Valley Achievement Center is a local non-profit agency that serves people of all ages with autism and other developmental disabilities.
