Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD Calif.- The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, today announced their Season Ending Roster, which included 13 eligible players from the 2009-10 Pacific Division Champion squad. The Season Ending Roster is the second of three maneuvers by ECHL teams that enable them to retain particular players from the previous season, following the Protected List (which was submitted June 1) and preceding the Qualifying Offers (due July 1).
Season Ending Roster (alphabetically):
Stephane Goulet
Gino Guyer
Andrew Ianiero
Nick Kemp
Erick Lizon
Dan Kissel
Scott Marchesi
Ryan Menei
Ken Morin
Adam Naglich
Sasha Pokulok
Evan Stoflet
Mark Voakes
Season-Ending Rosters may include up to 20 players, and cannot include any players who did not sign an ECHL contract in 2009-10. Matt Pope is the only player on the Condors Protected List who was ineligible for the Season Ending Roster due to this exception.
Each team is entitled to reserve rights to a maximum of eight players from the Season Ending Roster by extending a qualifying offer no later than July 1. Of the eight qualified players, no more than four can be veterans (260 regular season professional hockey games played as of the start of the 2010-11 season). Teams are not required to extend a qualifying offer to players who sign a contract prior to July 1.
