CINCINNATI - It's a taste a of the old, it's a taste of the new Friday night as Marion and Cincinnati collide Friday at historic Cincinnati Gardens. The Marion Mayhem is a charter member of the league while Cincinnati is one of the newest franchises in the circuit.

It's the season opener for the Mayhem, while the Commandos (1-0) look to gain some ground over the rest of the league by jumping to 2-0. Marion is eager to build on latest season's 9-4 finish and eastern division championship.
Cincinnati blasted Miami Valley 53-26 as Ben Mauk connected on 11-of-16 passes for 111 yards and four touchdowns. Dominick Goodman grabbed four passes for 50 yards and two scores. Teammate Robert Redd had two touchdowns. Ray Jackson rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown.
The Commando defense was just as impressive, shutting down and shutting out Miami Valley in the second half. The Silverbacks could only muster 42 yards of total offense and three first downs.
