Comets Open 2005 Training Camp

Houston Comets News Release
HOUSTON â The Houston Comets opened the team's 2005 Training Camp with the additions of forward Kristen Rasmussen and center/forward Tanisha Johnson. Rasmussen was acquired in a trade with the Indiana Fever in exchange for a third-round draft choice in 2006. Johnson was re-signed as a free agent.
Rasmussen (6-2, Michigan State â00), who spent the past two seasons with the Fever, holds career averages of 5.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 151 career games with the Utah Starzz (1 GP), Miami Sol (84 GP) and Indiana (66 GP). Johnson (6-3, Arkansas State â00) was originally acquired by Houston through the WNBA free agency system on May 12, 2001, but was waived by the Comets prior to the regular season on May 25, 2001.
The Houston Comets will host Media Day on Monday, April 25, starting at 11:00 a.m. Below is Houston's 2005 Training Camp roster:
