
Comets Open 2004 Training Camp

HOUSTON - The Houston Comets opened the team's 2004 training camp with the addition of two free agents, signing forward/center Lori Nero and guard Tora Suber.
Nero (6-2, Louisville '03) was originally selected by Houston in the second round (19th overall) of the 2003 WNBA Draft. She was waived by the Comets on May 21, 2003. Suber (5-7, Virginia '97) has seen action in three WNBA seasons with the Charlotte Sting and Orlando Miracle. She holds career averages of 4.0 points, 1.8 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 83 WNBA games. Suber was previously in camp with the Comets in 2002.
