Columbus Riverdragons and Columbus State Host First Annual Dance Camp Sept. 6th

Columbus, Ga.—The Columbus Riverdragons and Columbus State University are teaming up to host their first annual Dance Camp on Saturday, September 6th at CSU's Lumpkin Center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Camp instructors will be the Riverdragons own River Rage Dance Team and the nationally ranked and award-winning Cougar Heat Dance Team from Columbus State. All children ages 5-17 are invited to attend. To sign up for the first annual Dance Camp, contact Janda Cearley at (706) 225-1098 or pick up a registration form at the Riverdragons office located at 18 East 11th Street in Uptown Columbus.

Camp registration is $35, which includes: admission to the camp, camp T-shirt, four tickets to the Riverdragons opening night game against the Asheville Altitude on November 28th, and information about signing up for the upcoming Junior Rage Dance Team. The Dance Camp will instruct youngsters on dance techniques and choreography.

The NBDL, the NBA's minor league, includes the Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), North Charleston Lowgators (S.C.), Huntsville Flight (Ala.), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.), Columbus Riverdragons (Ga.), and Asheville Altitude (N.C.).

Designed to help grow the sport of basketball both domestically and internationally, the NBDL serves as a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 29 teams and as a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
