Columbus Crew Continues Busy Stretch of MLS Action

COLUMBUS - Columbus Crew (5-3-5, 20 points) continues its busy stretch of MLS action, hosting Nashville SC (5-1-7, 22 points) at Lower.com Field (96 Columbus Crew Way, Columbus, OH 43215) on Wednesday, July 19 [7:30 p.m. ET / Bally Sports Ohio, Bally Sports App (Stream) / 97.1 The Fan & 971TheFan.com (English)]; ColumbusCrew.com (Spanish)]. The Black & Gold then play their third match in eight days, traveling to face Atlanta United (2-4-7, 13 points) in a nationally televised matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, July 24 [3:30 p.m. ET / ABC, ESPN+ (Stream) / 97.1 The Fan & 971TheFan.com (English)]; ColumbusCrew.com (Spanish)].

The Black & Gold will hold two in-person media availabilities at the OhioHealth Performance Center (1 Black & Gold Boulevard, Columbus OH 43211) this week. The first "Matchday Minus 1" availability ahead of the Nashville match is set to take place on Tuesday, July 20 at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET and feature Crew Head Coach Caleb Porter along with select players. The Crew's "Matchday Minus 1" availability in advance of the Atlanta United contest is slated to take place on Friday, July 16 at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET and again feature Porter with select Crew players.

Following Wednesday's home match against Nashville SC, an in-person press conference featuring Porter and select Crew players is set to be held after the conclusion of the match. Upon the conclusion of the Atlanta United road match, a post-match video press conference featuring Porter and select Crew players is set to be held virtually.

All members of the media wishing to attend Columbus Crew's home match against Nashville SC (July 19) must apply for a single-match credential via this online form by Monday, July 19 at 5:00 p.m. ET. An application is not a guarantee of a credential and media members are encouraged to apply as early as possible ensure a spot. Accepted credentials require completion of a matchday health survey on matchday by 9:00 a.m. ET.

The Crew are currently accepting applications for season-long access credentials for 2021 regular-season matches between August and November at Lower.com Field. Media members may apply for these credentials by using the following link: https://bit.ly/3yY7bhe. All 2021 credential applications for traditional 'season-long access' must be accompanied by a high-resolution headshot and submitted by Friday, July 30 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
