Colts Announce 2010-11 Regular Season Schedule

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts today officially announced their full regular season and exhibition schedules for the 2010-11 season.

This year's regular season home schedule has 14 Thursday and 18 Saturday games, with a rare Tuesday and Friday night home game added to the schedule. The Colts will host Owen Sound on Tuesday, December 28th, and the Ottawa 67's will play in the traditional New Year's Eve Game on Friday, December 31st at 7:00 p.m. Barrie begins the season in Plymouth on September 25th, and host Brampton for their home opener on September 30th. All home games start at 7:30 p.m.

Here is a breakdown of Barrie's schedule by month:

September- 3 games- 1 home, 2 away

October- 11 games- 7 home, 4 away

November- 11 games- 4 home, 7 away

December- 12 games- 6 home, 6 away

January- 11 games- 5 home, 6 away

February- 12 games- 7 home, 5 away

March- 8 games- 4 home, 4 away

Total- 68 games- 34 home, 34 away

Other notables:

Longest home-stand- Three games twice (October 23-30, November 13-20)

Longest road swing- Four games (November 3-12)

Busiest months- 12 games- December, February

Three games in three nights- 10 occasions

Longest Stretch between games- 9 days, Christmas break

Barrie's exhibition schedule consists of six games. Their first is scheduled for Sunday September 5th in Owen Sound at 2:00 p.m. They will then host the Attack on September 6th at 6:00 p.m. On Thursday, September 9th Barrie will welcome Guelph at 7:30 p.m., before traveling to Sudbury on September 10th. The Wolves then come to Barrie on September 12th, and the Colts will wrap up their schedule on Friday, September 17th in Guelph.

A full season's tickets package includes tickets to all home exhibition games plus 34 regular season home games and the first two home playoff games. Prices are as follows:
