
Colorado's Clay Rush connects on 62-yard field goal

DENVER -- Colorado Crush K CLAY RUSH (6-3, 220, Missouri Western) connected on a 62-yard field goal as time expired heading into halftime against the Los Angeles Avengers at Pepsi Center.
The kick marked the second-longest in AFL history and was only the fourth field goal over 60 yards in the League's 19-year history. Two of the top four occurred in Denver.
The AFL goal posts are 15-feet high and nine-feet wide - compared to 10 feet by 18 feet in the outdoor game.
