NEW ORLEANS - Former New Orleans VooDoo offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman has signed with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, announced VooDoo front office Wednesday, June 5.
Coleman (6-8, 325, Mississippi Valley State) appeared in five games with the New Orleans VooDoo during the 2013 season after being traded from the Orlando Predators. Coleman appeared in 12 games with the Predators in 2012, while in 2011, he started 15 games. In 2010, Coleman recorded half a tackle as a rookie with the Chicago Rush.
During his college years, Coleman earned All-SWAC honors after leading the conference in knockdowns with 103 as a senior at Mississippi Valley State.
Coleman is the second VooDoo player to earn a shot in the CFL, so far this season.
