
Cole Ruwe To Attend ALS Event

Mississippi Surge fans will have a chance to visit with defenseman Cole Ruwe Thursday night at Beef O'Brady's during the Surge's fundraiser for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease).
Ruwe will be on hand along with Surge head coach Jeff Bes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the restaurant located at 3680 Sangani Boulevard in D'Iberville. Bes will be serving as a celebrity bartender, while Ruwe will be autographing pictures, all for donations to help battle ALS.
The Surge will begin its fourth season of play in the SPHL on Saturday October 27th at home against the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Once again, this season, the Surge will have 28 home games at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
