Colby Armstrong Appearance on Saturday, January 15

Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward and current AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh broadcaster Colby Armstrong will be making an appearance at 1ST SUMMIT ARENA Saturday, January 15 for the Johnstown Tomahawks game at 7 PM against the Jamestown Rebels.

Armstrong tallied 89 goals and 120 assists in his 476 game NHL career, spending three of his nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins, including a Stanley Cup Final appearance with the team in the 2007-2008 season.

The evening will begin with a private VIP reception in the Stars & Stripes Lounge from 5:30-6:30 PM. Limited VIP tickets are on sale for $25 and include admission to the reception, an autograph and photo with Colby Armstrong and admission to the January 15 game against the Jamestown Rebels. Tickets can be purchased through the Tomahawks office in person or by emailing Derek Partsch at derek@johnstowntomahawks.com. There will also be a general public meet and greet from 7:00 PM to the end of the 2nd period taking place in the Party Pit. General meet and greet is included with the purchase of a ticket to the game.

"We are very excited to be able to bring back appearance nights at our games, starting with Colby Armstrong," said Tomahawks Director of Business Operations Derek Partsch. "It's been a while since we've been able to offer this kind of experience for fans and we are very thankful to have the opportunity to do this again. It shows we are headed in the right direction, getting a sense of normalcy back in the world."

Saturday's game will be the second of a two-game weekend series against the Rebels, with the first being Friday, January 14 at 7:30 PM. Game tickets can be purchased through the Tomahawks office in person or by calling 814-53-4625, or through ticketmaster.com.
