Sioux City, IA - The Sioux City Explorers will be placing single game tickets on sale this Saturday, May 4th, the team announced today. Fans are encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities which are schedule to begin at 10:00 am and run through 3:00 pm at Lewis and Clark Park.
Saturday's event will give fans their first opportunity to purchase tickets to all of their favorite promotions, including four fan-tastic fireworks x-travaganzas, and appearances from Krazy George, the Zooperstars, and Airwave Dave to name a few.
The availability of single game tickets is just one of several events going on at the ballpark tomorrow. The list of events includes:
Fans who have purchased Explorers ticket packages (season tickets & mini-plans) may begin picking up their 2002 tickets.
Free pizza, compliments of Papa John's and the Explorers.
Free Pepsi-Cola, compliments of Pepsi-Cola of Siouxland and the Explorers.
KSUX will be broadcasting live at Lewis and Clark Park from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Kids will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with X's mascot, Junior.
Fans will have their first opportunity to check out improvements made at the ballpark throughout the off-season.
