CHARLOTTE Â The Carolina Cobras of the Arena Football League have partnered with Charlotte-based Internet solutions company, ClickCom.com, to develop an exciting new web site for Cobras fans as a part of the team's re-branding initiative for the 2004 season.
The club's official web site, www.cobrasfootball.com, has been re-launched with a host of new features including enhanced graphics, searchable news archive, user-friendly navigation tools and online ticket and merchandise purchase capability via e-commerce. The team will also launch a new e-mail newsletter, Snake Bytes, with registration through the site.
"Having a strong Internet presence is extremely important as we continue to integrate the Cobras and Arena Football into the Charlotte market," said Bo Hussey, the Cobras' vice president of marketing and communications. "Our partnership with ClickCom.com will enable us to give our fans the constant flow of information they demand in a dynamic and timely fashion."
One of the most impressive elements of the site will go unseen by the public as the team's communications staff will use ClickCom.com's SiteWizard.biz® content administration tool to enter and place information without the need for HTML or other programming knowledge. Fans will benefit from this technology with quicker updates, expanded team news and real time in-depth game coverage.
