Denver Summit FC returns to action on Saturday, February 15th at 1PM MT at the Coachella Valley Invitational With momentum on its side, Summit is set to face San Diego Wave in the club's second preseason test. Summit enters the matchup riding high after a 2:0 victory over Utah Royals FC in its historic first preseason match. The win marked a strong opening statement, with Melissa Kössler recording the first preseason goal in club history and Olivia Thomas adding a second-half finish to secure the result. The performance showcased early attacking sharpness, defensive discipline, and encouraging depth across the lineup.

San Diego Wave comes into the contest following a draw against Kansas City Current in its previous Coachella Valley Invitational match. San Diego found the scoresheet through Gia Corley, whose goal helped the Wave earn a share of the points in a competitive outing. The Wave demonstrated resilience and attacking quality, setting up what should be another strong preseason test for Summit.
