Lake Michigan Admirals News Release
St. Joseph, MI.- The Lake Michigan Admirals are excited to announce that Coach Buck Riley, former Adrian College Hall Of Fame coach, has been added to the veteran coaching staff for the upcoming 2009-2010 ABA Season. Coach decided in April that 41 years of coaching was enough. "It is time for me to be a spectator," quoted Coach Buck. All of his coaching friends warned him it wouldn't be long before he would find himself back in the gym. Sure enough, the Admials set sail and landed one of the greatest coaches in Adrian College's history.
"We are excited to bring another quality coach to the area. A lot of the area coaches know Coach Buck and are happy with the decision," quoted Chris Glisson Owner and CEO of the Lake Michigan Admirals. Season tickets are currently on sale. Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
