Lake Michigan Admirals News Release
St. Joseph, MI. - The Lake Michigan Admirals' line up looked a little different Saturday night in front of a packed gymnasium at Lake Michigan Catholic where the Admirals won 109 - 101 against the Lansing Capitals. On Thursday, the Admirals signed 6'10" BJ Walker for the rest on the season. That was the smartest move all year by general manager Chris Glisson. Walker made his presence felt in his season debut with the Admirals by scoring a double double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Paige Paulsen also had a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. "That was the best performance from my post players that I have seen all year," stated Chris Glisson. There were 7 players out of the 10 that scored in double figures. Steve "Superman" Strong had 20 points, followed by Scotty Samarco's 16 points, and Freer, Benson, and Harris with 11 points a piece. Lansing's leading scorer was 22 points by Ty Motley. The Admirals' go on the road for the next two games and will return home May 4th and 5th at Lake Michigan Catholic against Sauk Valley and Bloomington.
