Cleveland Hockey Great Wayne Muloin to Appear January 12th at Wooster Warriors Game

(Wooster, OH). The Wooster Warriors of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League today announced that former Cleveland Barons and Cleveland Crusaders defenseman Wayne Muloin will appear at the Warriors Saturday, January 12th home game at the Alice Noble Ice Arena. Mr. Muloin will meet and greet fans and sign autographs from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. He will also drop the ceremonial first puck before the Warriors take on the Jamestown Vikings that evening.

Wayne Muloin played in over 900 professional hockey games in a career that spanned from 1963 to 1977. He played in 147 National Hockey League games with the Detroit Red Wings, California Golden Seals, and Minnesota North Stars. He also played in 258 games in the World Hockey Association, primarily with the Cleveland Crusaders from 1972-73 through 1975-76. Mr. Muloin also played one season for the old Cleveland Barons in the American Hockey League (1971-72). Hockey fans of eastern and central Ohio will remember Wayne playing in both the old Cleveland Arena on Euclid Avenue and at the Richfield Coliseum.

"I'm looking forward to meeting the Wooster area hockey fans on January 12th," said Wayne Muloin who still makes his home in Avon, Ohio. "This gives me an opportunity to give back to the hockey community of central Ohio."

The Wooster Warriors next home game at the Alice Noble Ice Arena is tonight at 7:00pm against the Valley Forge Freedom.
