
Cincinnati Kings stranded by Harrisburg City Islanders, 5-1

CINCINNATI (July 2, 2006) -- The Cincinnati Kings lost 5-1 to the Harrisburg City Islanders at home tonight in their third straight loss this week. The Kings now stand at 4-5-3 in the United Soccer Leagues' Second Division.
The lone Kings goal was put in the net by a Harrisburg defender for an own goal in the 45th minute. The City Islanders ripped off a record five opposing goals against the Kings. Scoring for the City Islanders were: Jim Stevens in the second minute with Ryan O'Neill on the assist, Adam Clay in the 39th minute with the assist from Derek Potteiger, Justin Sadler in the 54th minute off a penalty kick, David McClellan in the 75th minute assisted by Matt Tanzini, and finally Jamel Mitchell in the 76th minute assisted by McClellan.
The Kings will roll the dice again at their next match against the New Hampshire Phantoms at Xavier University Soccer Complex on Friday, July 7 at 7 p.m.
