Cincinnati Kings Soccer Tryouts Set for February

CINCINNATI (January 2, 2007) - The Cincinnati Kings have announced an Open Soccer Tryout on February 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wall 2 Wall Indoor Soccer Facility in Mason.

Cost per person is $75 and includes a Kings t-shirt and lunch. Interested players should visit the Kings website to download an application and submit it along with the tryout fee.

A second tryout, scheduled for February 2 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., will be by invitation only and will include players selected from the Open Tryout along with additional prospects.

The Cincinnati Kings 2007 roster will be announced in the beginning of March. The Cincinnati Kings will start their third season in the United Soccer Leagues (USL) Second Division on the road against the defending champion Richmond Kickers on April 21. The first home match for the Kings will be April 28 versus the expansion Cleveland City Stars.

The Kings will play a 20-game regular-season schedule with 10 matches at home and 10 on the road. With 10 teams competing in the Second Division, the Kings will play a home and home series with each of the other nine teams and one additional home and home series with Cleveland.
