Cincinnati Kings News Release

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Kings announced at their Tuesday podcast event at McFadden's a new format for soccer academies that will break from the traditional soccer camps. The Kings players and coaches will travel to prospective players and teams to perform clinics.

The Cincinnati Kings Soccer Academy is a series of one-hour training sessions put on by the team's players and coaches. Individuals, groups (2-8 players) or teams (18 players maximum) can sign up for training sessions. The players and coaches will travel to meet the player or team and work with them on their soccer skills.

Sessions will focus on different skills and each participant has the opportunity to choose the aspect of his or her game that needs the most improvement. The three topics that are covered by the Academy are: dribbling and foot skills, passing and receiving, finishing and attacking runs.

The Cincinnati Kings Soccer Academy is for soccer players ages 9 and up. The cost for each session is $60 for individuals, $120 for groups, and $15 per player for team sessions. Included in the price is a Kings t-shirts and recognition at one of the team's home matches next year.

The Kings Kast podcast events are the first Tuesday of every month at McFadden's from 7-9 p.m. Kings General Manager J.T. Roberts shares his views on the Kings and takes questions from fans. The next Kings Kast will be November 1.
