Cincinnati Blaze holds Veterans Camp for Player Selection

Cincinnati, OH – October 15, 2004 – Cincinnati Blaze announced today that it is holding its veterans camp to select and sign players for the upcoming season beginning November 20, 2004 at 7:00 at the US Bank Arena. Players attending the camp were selected among an intensive recruitment effort to select the best talent available for the team. Players' attending the camp range from NCAA greats to former NBA and oversees professional athletes.

According to Ralph Underhill Cincinnati Blaze Head Coach the players attending this camp totaling approximately 23 guys made the cut of over 500 potential athletes. This is an exciting time for us as we feel we have selected some great talent to really maximize our fan experience and win games.

The veteran's camp for the Cincinnati Blaze will be held at Cincinnati State Community College on Saturday October 16, 2004 with two sessions (10-12 am and 4-6 pm) and Sunday October 17, 2004 one session from (11 am to 1 pm). Player signings will immediately follow.

Joel Cornet (St. Xavier High School)
Ivan Johnson (Son of former Cincinnati Bengal running back great Pete Johnson)
