(LONDON, ON) - The London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada announced Friday the signing of American guard, Christian Nobles, for the 2023 season.
Nobles, a 5' 9 guard hailing from Augusta, Georgia joins the Bolts after previously playing with the Syracuse Stallions during the 2022 TBL season. The former USC Aiken starter has played in the Montenegrin Erste Liga before making two separate stops in the TBL with Jamestown and Syracuse.
"Christian impressed us last season with his performance against us and Sudbury and being named an All-Star. He already has an established relationship with Chris Jones so we've been in contact over the summer. Any chance we can get to add an experience floor general, we're going to take it and we look forward to his contributions. ¬Â - Head Coach Doug Plumb
The Lightning training camp gets under way January 6th with more players and a full training camp roster to be announced in the days leading up to camp. Lightning season tickets are now on sale with single game tickets set to go on sale next week.
