Snohomish County Explosion News Release
MONROE, Wash. - June 30, 2008 - Shawn Kemp joined Chris Weakley, Jamaal Miller, Troy Gwynn and Chris Keller to lead the North to victory on Sunday, June 29th in the 2008 IBL North/South All-Star Classic.
Despite center Ike O'Hansen's 31 points and 19 rebounds for the South, the North was able to take an early lead and sustain that lead throughout the game, with Chris Keller blazing the trail.
"Keller is an outstanding player as well as a great community representative for the Explosion organization," said Nathan Mumm, majority owner and defensive coach for the Snohomish County Explosion.
Participation in the North/South All-Star Classic marked the end of the Explosion post-season.
