Chris Jamison Returning to Offensive Line for Predators

ORLANDO - When injuries hampered the starting lineup along the offensive line in 2010, Chris Jamison was there to pick up the slack. The Arena Football League announced Wednesday that Jamison (6'2, 295, Troy) will be taking on defenders yet again with the Orlando Predators.
The move was made just days before the end of the AFL's exclusive signing period. Next week the free agent market opens up as teams begin shaping rosters for the 2012 season.
Jamison made eight starts at guard/tight end and seven starts at center in 2011. He enters his third season in the AFL, all of which has been spent in Orlando with the Preds.
"I've never experienced anything like playing in The Jungle," Jamison said. "We have the best fans, they truly love this team."
Jamison is the third player to commit to the Preds this offseason. He joins kicker Mark Lewis and defensive lineman Mark Robinson on the roster for new head coach Bret Munsey.
"I'm excited to play for Coach Munsey because of all the great things I've heard about him," Jamison said. "He's a good guy first and foremost, and a great coach that's won an ArenaBowl. That's something as player that really stands out."
Before joining the AFL, Jamison was selected to the All-Sun Belt Conference First Team as a senior at Troy. He tallied a team-high 983 snaps on the season as a junior while being credited with 44 knockdown blocks.
