Chris Duliban signs with the Barracudas as new Head Coach

Belton. Tx: The CenTex Barracudas of the Intense Football League are continuing to take it to the next level, today the Barracudas introduced their new Head Coach after a long, hard and careful search.

"We wanted to make sure we were bringing in the right coach for the job, so we interviewed several candidates with very successful and winning backgrounds. Once I sat down with Coach Duliban, however; I felt comfortable with what he could do to turn this team around", stated team owner Dr. Fred Barnett. "Coach Duliban has the kind of integrity this team and this community needs, and the kind of drive that can motivate our players to play hard and earn their spot at the playoffs!" Coach Duliban remarked "I am excited about leading this team to the next level, it's important to have all the right pieces and that they all fit and I know this is the best fit for me. I am going to do everything I can to bring the best quality players, that will bring the best quality of play on the field!"

Coach Duliban is a 1981 graduate of Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas on a football scholarship where he played Outside Linebacker from 1981-86. He was named 2nd team All-SWC and received the DX Bible Team Spirit Award in 1985. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1986 and played Linebacker and special teams for the Cowboys in 1986-87. He then signed as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills in 1988. Coach Duliban left the NFL in 1989 to pursue private business. Duliban began his coaching career at Hyde Park Baptist in 1996, and has been there ever since. He began his indoor coaching career, with the Texas Terminators of the IPFL in 1999 as the Defensive Coordinator and then accepted his first indoor Head Coaching job in 2002 with the Austin Rockers of the National Indoor Football League.. Duliban and his wife, Heather, have two sons: Grant and Garret. "My family and I feel very comfortable about this situation, and look forward to becoming apart of the community."
