
CHL Training Camps Begin this Week

GLENDALE, AZ (October 7, 2012) - The Central Hockey League's (CHL) 10 member teams all begin on-ice activity in their respective training camps this week with nine teams set for on-ice activity on Monday and the Quad City Mallards set to begin on-ice camp on Thursday. The CHL's 21st season begins on Friday, October 19.
All teams are required to submit their training camp rosters prior to the opening of their camps with no more than 30 players allowed in camp, per team. To view each team's training camp rosters, visit www.centralhockeyleague.com.
The Quad City Mallards will begin camp 72 hours later than the other CHL clubs due to the need to first complete final player-related operational requirements. The Flock is set to open camp on Thursday, October 11.
The CHL's preseason schedule begins on Friday, October 12 with three games and continues with four games on Saturday, October 13 and one game on Sunday, October 14 (in Dodge City, Kansas). The complete preseason schedule is below (subject to change):

Oct. 12- Denver at Rapid City
Oct. 12- Quad City at Bloomington
Oct. 13- Tulsa at Wichita
Oct. 13- Denver at Rapid City
