CHL Suspends Arizona's Garrett Clarke
February 22, 2014 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (February 22, 2014) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Arizona Sundogs defenseman Garrett Clarke has been suspended for one (1) game and as a result will miss tonight's game in Rapid City.
Clarke received an elbowing penalty in the second period of Friday's game against the Rush that upon a request for review was assessed to fit the criteria of a "slew-foot".
As is the case with any player suspension in the CHL, the penalized team (Sundogs) will have to play a man short while the player is suspended. Contact: Bob Hoffman CHL hoffman@centralhockeyleague.com.
