BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Central Hockey League has officially released an updated 2008-2009 schedule which includes a few alterations to Bossier-Shreveport's schedule for the coming year. The Mudbugs' 32 home games at CenturyTel Center have all remained the same, but three road contests have been changed to accommodate new developments in league scheduling.

The revised schedule has Bossier-Shreveport visiting the Tulsa Oilers on Friday, January 16, 2009 and playing in Oklahoma City against the Blazers the next night, Saturday, January 17th. The Mudbugs had originally been slated to play at Oklahoma City on Friday and at the Texas Brahmas on Saturday.

One other change to Bossier-Shreveport's schedule regards another visit to Oklahoma City in February. The Mudbugs and Blazers game originally set for Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 has been moved back one day to Wednesday, February 25th.

In all, the schedule changes add up to one more divisional game for the Mudbugs, who will now have eight meetings with Tulsa next season and ten with Texas. Bossier-Shreveport will play 24 of its 64 regular season games against teams from the Northeast Division.
