Longtime MLB reliever Neftali Feliz allowed two runs in a five-inning start Saturday, as the Reno Aces beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 7-3 in Game 1 of the doubleheader. Cory Spangenberg went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run in the loss for El Paso.

Dusty Coleman went 1-for-2 with a solo home run on the first pitch of the bottom of the seventh inning. Brett Nicholas had a pinch-hit single in the bottom of the seventh, El Paso's 23rd pinch hit this season.

The Reno Aces hit two home runs in their 4-1 Game 2 victory, handing El Paso its third consecutive loss. The Aces have hit seven homers in the first three games of the series.

Colin Rea pitched five shutout innings in his fifth start for the Chihuahuas. El Paso's lone run came on a bases loaded walk by Allen Craig in the fifth inning.

Reno's second win Saturday secured a series win, handing El Paso its first series loss since June 13-15 vs. Nashville. The Chihuahuas are now 1-3 in doubleheader games this season.
