Chiefs Bring Back Referral Rewards Program

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that the team will offer its Referral Rewards Program for the 2009-10 season.

"Our great fans showed last season that they enjoyed the opportunity to earn some cash while helping us to grow our fan base when we unveiled our Referral Rewards Program. Their participation made it an easy decision to bring back the program this season," said Vice President and General Manager Bill Bredin.

After debuting in 2008-09, the Chiefs' Referral Rewards Program will again give Chiefs fans the chance to earn cold, hard cash by referring others to buy Chiefs ticket packages for the 2009-10 campaign. For every ticket that a referred individual purchases through season tickets or a Total Choice Flex Plan, the existing ticket holder who referred them will receive one dollar. For example, if a season ticket holder's friend buys four (4) season tickets the existing season ticket holder will receive $144! Like last season, there is no limit to how many referral rewards you can collect, so the earning potential is unlimited. Those who participate in the Referral Rewards Program can elect to receive their rewards in cash or use them as credit at the Chiefs Merchandise Shop.

Here is how the Referral Rewards Program works:

- You must have renewed (or expanded) the same ticket plan held during the 2008-09 season. If you have relocated your seat and kept the same (or expanded) your plan, you are still eligible. - The person(s) that you refer must purchase a ticket plan (minimum of four games) for the 2009-10 season. - The person(s) that you refer must be paid-in-full on their account before you are eligible to receive your Referral Rewards. - Referral Rewards will begin to be paid out following the first regular season game of the 2009-10 season. - In order to be eligible for Referral Rewards, the person(s) that you refer may not have had a ticket plan for the 2008-09 season. - If you choose cash payment as your Referral Reward, your ticket account must be paid in full before you can receive your reward.
