
Chiefs Attending Resource Fair

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche and Boston Bruins and the American Hockey League's Lake Erie Monsters and Providence Bruins, will be attending a Resource Fair, Connecting Families with theCommunity, on August 12th at the Pasquerilla Center in downtown Johnstown.
Connecting Families with the Community which is hosted by Goodwill Industries will be on August 12th from 9 am to 4 pm. It will be at the Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center, across from the War Memorial, in downtown Johnstown. It is free for the public.
The purpose of this resource fair is to connect the public in Cambria and surrounding counties to see the resources, information, and job opportunities in this region. It is designed for people of all ages with interactive presentations during the day, a mini career fair, health screenings, and informational vendors/exhibitor tables in different zones to satisfy everyone's needs.
The Chiefs' will have their own booth where Tom E. Hawk will be present along with one of the Chiefs' players to sign autographs from 12 pm to 1 pm. There will also be information on the Kids' Club along with information on all of the Chiefs' ticket options. Don't miss this opportunity to get a great deal on Chiefs tickets. The Chiefs open their 2008-09 home schedule on Saturday, October 18, 2008 against the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 pm. The Chiefs' are entering their 21st year of competition in the ECHL and are the only ECHL team to have played in its original city for the entire existence of the league.
