
Chicago's Gray Voted Week 19 National Guard MVP

TULSA, Okla. - Chicago WR REGGIE GRAY has been named the National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 19 of the 2011 AFL season, as voted on by fans.
Gray overwhelmingly beat the competition on Facebook.com, receiving a staggering 82 percent of the fans' votes. Gray aided the Rush in securing home field advantage in the first round of playoffs by defeating the Dallas Vigilantes in Week 19, 53-44. Gray ended the night with six receptions for 126-yards and three touchdowns, while also notching two kickoff returns for 32-yards. Down by two points going into the fourth quarter, Gray scored two crucial touchdowns to boost Chicago to a victory.
The Rush (13-4) will host the Milwaukee Mustangs (6-11) in the final week of regular season play, Week 20, on Saturday, July 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Rush will host the Vigilantes Friday, July 29 at 8:30 p.m. ET in the First Round of the National Conference.
Other candidates for the award included Milwaukee WR Marcus Everett and Orlando QB Nick Hill.
