Upcoming Promotions: This Sunday the Chicago Storm give the shirts off their backs to benefit the Kids-4-Soccer Foundation. On Sunday, March 18th at 5 pm the Storm takes on the California Cougars and in honor of St. Patrick's Day, the Chicago Storm is going from yellow and black to green. Fans are encouraged to bid on their favorite player's green jersey until halftime of the game, with all the money being donated to the Kids-4-Soccer foundation. The winners receive the autograph jersey knowing that they've donated to a worthy cause. To make the bidding even more special, think pink. A special pink jersey autographed by the entire Storm team is also up for bid. All the proceeds raised by the pink jersey go to the Avon Foundation- Walk for Breast Cancer. Come out, enjoy great Storm soccer and help two great causes.

On Top of the League: Let's Go Storm! Chicago sits on top of the MISL in Power Plays, with a 52.9% conversion rate... Storm rookie forward Stephen Armstrong ranks first in the league in power play goals with ten... Defender and team captain Gaston Pernia is second in the league in blocked shots with 42... Midfielder Mariano Bollella is third in the MISL in assists with 20.

Happy 100th: Defender Randy Soderman played in his 100th NPSL/MISL game Sunday!

Almost There: Randy Soderman is also one block shy of 75 on his career... Midfielder Matthew Stewart needs one goal to reach his career high (19)... Target man Chris Handsor is one point shy of 550 on his career... Stephen Armstrong needs one goal to tie the Storm rookie record for goals of 21 set by Byron Alvarez in 2004-05... Midfielder Andy Rosenband is on assist shy of his career high (7) set in 2004-05.

Storm Record: Rookie forward Stephen Armstrong has set the team record for power play goals with ten.... Gaston Pernia's 42 blocks beats the team record for blocks in a season set by Pernia in the 2004-05 season... Midfielder Mariano Bollella has 20 assists on the season, breaking the previous Storm record of 19 assists in one season set by Novi in 2004-2005.

Personal Bests: Brazilian defender Fabinho has 17 blocks on the season, breaking his personal best of 16 set in 2003-04 when he played for the Dallas Sidekicks... Target man Marj Ughy has tied a personal best 9 assists on the season... Forward Jorge Valle has reached a personal best 12 blocks on the season... Forward Awadalla Morad has tied his personal best 8 assists on the season.

The Great Wall of Ball: Veteran midfielder John Ball now has 400 blocks for his career, ranking him third among active players behind Philadelphia's Pat Morris (438) and Genoni Martinez (426).

Hot Streaks: Midfielder Mariano Bollella has had either a goal or an assist in each of the last five games... Rookie forward Stephen Armstrong has had either a goal or an assist in three straight games... In his last five games target man Mark Ughy has seven goals and four assists... Brazilian defender Fabinho has eight blocks in the last five games.
